A Monroeville woman was flown by a medical helicopter to a Toledo hospital after she fell about 40 feet down a cliff near her rental home Monday afternoon. Look for a story in Tuesday's Reflector. Here are photos of the incident.
Very distasteful and gratuitous on your part, Reflector. You don't give a name but you're happy to give as many voyeuristic pictures as possible.
Its a little upsetting you put pictures up before my whole family got to here about my sister. When you look at the pics you can tell its her house and that its her in one of the pictures.
I agree@ mandabear90, No name of the person, and what were the fire Hoses for, where they gonna rinse her down first or what? Good job Reflector, Woman falls from cliff But nothing about her at all. Your photographer, took some nice pics of fall foilage though.
The firefighters with hoses are there in case there is a problem with the helicopter landing. That is protocal for the Huron River Joint Fire District.
Not a fan of the new photo gallery. I agree why post these photos when there is no information. Might as well left it in the police blotter.
mandabear90, I'm sorry to hear this about your sister & I hope she will be ok..NR,I have to agree with others, not a fan of the new gallery or some of the pictures that were taken..For some reason, the photographers always take 2,3, & sometimes more of the same picture..Next time, please don't put the person in the pictures until the family has been notified..
Sorry for this person and her family I hope she recovers soon. I must disagree with the "voyeuristic" comments, there is nothing voyeuristic about any of these pictures. This is a new event, not many people fall from cliffs around here that require all of th emergency response teams. In fact, the pictures could have been much more close-up and personal. I feel they are done in good taste.
