@winnie with the frequency you are on the blogs, I would suggest the "Get A Life" shop for your fashion needs..
@ Francis: Thanks for reading.
"Get A Life shop"? Did you purchase that line with your reward points at the "Moronic Trash Talk" outlet?

@ TOPGUN01:
1.) Locate the large rectangular "Caps Lock" key on the left side of your board.
2.) Press it once.
@Winnie , no really I purchased them at the "I have nothing going in my life winnie web site." ....
@ Francis: So how many imbecile reward points did you earn?
I, as your Libertarian Party candidate for Ohio House 57, would like to comment on this article. I was invited to the "IfYouBelive" on October 8th and cordially accepted their invitation. Yes, I said October 8th . When I saw on their website that they were having a candidates night on September 24th (the one this article refers to) I contacted them to question this and was told that this particular night was only for local candidates (commissioner, etc) and that the state house candidates night was, indeed, on October 8th. When I spoke to a member of the group last night after the debate I was told that in leu of the debate that the October 8th event was cancelled and low and behold today I see this article. I understand that this group endorses Terry Boose but this kind of outright lie is a dis-service to you, the voters, by not presenting all of the candidates so that you may make your choice in November. The reason I did not attend this event was because I, along with the citizens of district 57, was decieve, pure and simple. Robert F. Sherwin
wtf that is not fare make me want to vote for you
Noted sir!! Thank you for exposing the status quo of the good 'ole by network!!!
ONE MORE TIME OF FALSE INFO FROM THE SUPPORTERS OF SILCOX AND BAUER.
All we get is games and lies so it is time to THROW THEM OUT!!!
May they sleep on those $500 picnic tables.
This is what I call dirty politics at its worst. What hurt me the most was that the gentlemen from IfYouBelieve lied to my face and then shook my hand. This is about as low as a man can get. Also, I think it is unethical for a reporter for the Reflector to comment on his own story, with derogatory comments, based on false information. This is a group that Terry Boose has close ties with. This goes to show the character of this group and of Terry Boose.

@ Mr. Sherwin:
Thanks for sharing.
IMO, the unprofessional quality of your treatment only helps to validate the sad truism that: Politicians are professional liars.
The date and time were advertised. Please take some accountability.
@ User3904:
Cut the guy some slack. He's waging a shoestring budget campaign.
It's not like Misters Lark and Boose who have an entourage of paid and volunteer political professional cronies to keep their schedules for 'em or help fund their campaigns.
The U.S. has the best govt. that money can buy. Are we getting our “money’s worth”?
Bingo, Contango! I have attended EVERY event that I have been invited to. I have juggled my work hours with campaign events. It is bad enough that I have to use my limited resources to fight Boose and Lark, but now I have to defend myself from comments that are based on false information?
@User3904: The only place that I saw the date advertised was in the IfYouBelieve newsletter. On September 23rd I e-mail Vic Mooney from the group and questioned it. He told me that the candidates night on Monday September 24th was only for Huron County Candidates (commisioner, recorder, etc.) and that the State Rep forum was still on for October 8th. So, let's hold the correct peopel accountable, please. I forwarded all e-mail correspondences between myself and Mr. Mooney to Joe Centers at the paper.
I'm having a very hard time understanding what is "unethical" or "derogatory" about trying to explain in this forum that the information given to me, and accompanying a bunch of pictures, was what it was. From the www.ifyoubelieve.org website, copied just this evening:
Our Next meeting at the Freedom Center will be held Monday September 24th at 7:00pm
Candidate Night is on for Monday night. Everyone from all sides was invited, however we have several no shows.
If there was a miscommunication between you and the organizing group, that is between you and them.
Mr. Russell, I didn't say that it was unethical for you to comment on your own story. What IS unethical is you making statements that made Mr. Lark and myelf look bad based on false information. I had a correspondence with Mr. Mooney from IfYouBelieve on Sunday the 23rd after seeing their newsletter that stated exactly whay you posted above and was told that that was only for local races (commissioner, etc.) and that the State Rep forum was still on for October 8th. Your comments are exactly what involved youm along with the group in question. If you would have returned my phone call on Thursday this could have been worked out and done. Instead, you came in here and posted more comments defending your actions. Mr. Centers has been forwarded all communications between myself and Mr. Mooney. When you decided to ignore my phone call I contacted Mr. Centers and he was very sympathetic regarding my concerns. A simple apology regarding YOUR comments that were based on lies would have put this matter to rest. I have a hard enough time fighting Mr. Boose and Mr. Lark without having to waste my time defending myself in here as to why I sisn't attend a meeting that I wasn't even invited to. You are the one who said "we still owed it to the voters to show up". I can't speak for the other candidates but I, indeed, had accepted Mr. Mooney's invitation to the October 8th event which, by the way, Mr. Mooney himself told me on September 26th that it was cancelled in lieu of the debate, full well knowing that they had already had the event TWO DAYS EARLIER. I thought you would show some integrity and let your readers know that your comments were a mistake and that it was a misunderstanding between myself and IfYouBelieve.
Bob Sherwin I do understand . Speaking 1 on 1 to Terry years ago, I feel his agenda is for the monied few, not the majority. Growing up in agriculture Terry knows what I mean.
I had time to return the phone call to Mr. Sherwin today and explained that my comment on Thursday, "the absent candidates owe it to their constituents to have shown up and say what they had to say" was only my opinion and was directed to anyone that questioned why there were pictures in the gallery of the candidates from only one party. The comment was made before I knew of any miscommunication on the dates between the sponsors of this candidate's night and Mr. Sherwin.
I apologize that there may have been inconsistent information given to the candidates and myself.
I was pleased that Mr. Russell returned my call today so that I could explain my frustration to him about particular comments that were made on his part in this forum. This does not, however, excuse the fact that IfYouBelive used, in my opinion, deceitful tactics to exclude me from an event that I had originally accepted an invitation to. This was, indeed, a disservive to the voters of the 57th house district and goes to show that groups such as this will go to great lengths to protect their establishment politicians.

Mr Sherwin, I would vote for you any day! I totally agree with you and you have handled your campaign with class and no one is filling your pockets or making you feel like you will "owe" them something for it later. We need more candidates like you. Good luck.
Thank you, Erlida. Unfortunately, candidates who show class and do not take money from special interest groups have a hard time winning elections. I have seen Mr. Lark and Mr. Boose in attack mode for several weeks now, argueing and contradicting each other constantly. My message has remained on focus. I have spoken to many people after different campaign events and they share thae same sentiment as you do. Thank you for your kind words. It truely does make my day.
