Lost in the blaze included a motor home, a boat, jet skis and a number of classic cars. The price tag for the fire could be hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Reports were the fire started about 8:30 p.m. and it appeared to be under control about 11. The Huron Rive Joint Fire District was on the scene with help from a number of area departments, including Norwalk, Milan, Fairfield, Townsend and Willard.
Pumper trucks were taking turns filling up at near-by fire hydrants and unloading the water into pools set up at the blaze. Trucks were coming as far as the entrance to Sycamore Hills in Norwalk to get water.
