Norwalk Inventor gets patent
Humanetics Innovative Solutions, Plymouth, Mich., has been assigned a patent (8,407,033) developed by four co-inventors for a "system for modeling dynamic response changes in an anthropomorphic dummy." The co-inventors are John Cooper, Oxford, Mich., Michael Beebe, Norwalk, Ohio, Dave C. Stein, Troy, Mich., and Craig Morgan, Bloomfield Hills, Mich. The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: "A system and method for designing a crashworthiness system is taught. The system utilizes computer models of anthropomorphic dummies having material properties which change as a function of time."
