A Greenwich man must post a $17,500 bond before being released from custody in connection with stealing two vehicles Thursday.
Zachery J. Foster, 22, of 6 Pierce St., was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property after Wakeman Police Sgt. Josh Milchen saw him leaving a Jeep suspected of being stolen from an Ohio 60 home.
"He parked it next to another car that he had allegedly taken without permission from (an Ohio) 61 residence. When approached by Wakeman police, Foster gave Sgt. Milchen bogus information. Unfortunately, he gave someone's information whom had a felony warrant out of Huron County," Chief Tim Hunker said.
After Foster was arrested, police determined that there had been multiple vehicle break-ins in the area.
