Patrol recovers gift cards and merchandise purchased with stolen credit cards

Two women are facing felony charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers recovered 27 Wal-Mart gift cards and other merchandise, valued at more than $12,000, that had been purchased with stolen credit cards.
In addition, troopers recovered 50 Visa debit cards with no receipt indicating the value of each card.
Troopers stopped a 1999 Chevrolet Venture, with Illinois registration, for a speed violation, on the Ohio Turnpike, near milepost 27, at 2:30 a.m. Thursday. Upon approaching the vehicle, the trooper observed an odor of raw marijuana. A probable cause search revealed the gift cards and merchandise.
The driver, Alicia A. Spencer, 29, and passenger, Kellee M. Wilson, 30, both of Chicago, were incarcerated in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio and charged with engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, a second-degree felony, and receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony
If convicted, each could face up to 9 1/2 years in prison and a $17,500 fine.

so they found no pot? these guys are always smelling a strong odor of raw {as opposed to cooked i'm guessing} marijuana. maybe it's their cologne or something
