Motorist who struck guy-wire cited but not injured

A Norwalk man who lost control of his vehicle and struck a guy-wire has been charged with failure to control.

Dustin W. Brummitt, 25, of 51 Townsend Ave., was eastbound on Ohio 61 in a pickup truck and attempted to turn right onto Townsend Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. Friday. Brummitt lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered, slick road and traveled through the intersection to the north side of the road where the truck struck a guy wire, Norwalk police said. His vehicle traveled up the guy wire and became suspended.

According to the state patrol even if you have a heart attack and wreck you will be cited for failure to control, so why some do and some dont get cited is kinda funny.02:04 PM

I think he should fight the titcket in court. He should not be sighted for this at all.
