Business creates 40 jobs in Norwalk

A business surviving tough economic times has created 40 jobs in Norwalk during the last two years.

The local BackOffice DataFactory, led by Bill Thomas, is located at 16 Executive Drive.

"They started with about five employees in 2009 and have grown to nearly 40 employees," said Ellen Heinz, Norwalk economic development director.

Bill Thomas, his brains and business accumen built this business. The Mayor had nothing to do with it. She just showed up for the photo op.

I am thankful for these owners and the fact that they are staying local, and are hiring locals for good jobs in our are.....they have grown from 5 employees in 09...(who was the Mayor then??) to currently nearly 40 employees!!! that is nearly 40 local people who have a job, and are not listed in the unemployed statistics, they are not collecting government assistance or other government subsidized programs..... that is a wonderful think the way I see it....................it is blatantly obvious that the people who blame the Mayor when a local company decides to move south of the border to save money.... are the same ones who refuse to give her credit when a company is very successful, and is employing many locals , and boosting their financial situations, plus their state of mind knowing that they are able to support their families proudly..and these same confused few only see this as a "photo op"............the way I see it , the Mayor should be very proud, of, and happy with any company who is growing and employing as many employees as possible, and to show her pleasure and gratitude, yes , maybe a nice picture of appreciation would be nice.. as it so happens to do here....but I have to correct the "loud" opponents.... I think there are plenty of weeeenies....... and they sure like to write on this blog , only seeing one shallow side all the time....

The current trend aims to push that a bit further to high skill-low pay. Except for elected officials of course. Like the low skill-high pay, all excuses, photo-op grabbing mayor pictured above who gave herself a healthy raise in office but only has a few new parks to campaign on this year.

These are obviously the jobs of the future. The ones for which an education is required. The days of high pay-low skill factory jobs are gone, never to return. http://www.boaweb.com/
