Baylee Cook gets her first haircut from stylist Helena Longbrake while great-grandmother Vera Cook looks on.

Here's a real blast from the past.

Little 9-month-old Baylee Cook got her first haircut Tuesday morning while sitting in the lap of her great-grandmother, Vera Cook.

Everybody gets their first haircut, but this one comes with a twist.

Baylee's father, Edward Cook, was pictured in the Oct. 10, 1984 Norwalk Reflector getting his first haircut while sitting on the lap of his great-grandfather, Jesse Lewis.

Both pictures were taken at Norwalk Memorial Home.

Jessie Lewis was featured in the "Now ... and then" column by Jean Walek. The column focused on the senior citizens around town.

"We found the picture when we were looking through the stuff when grandma moved in here (Memorial Home)," said Jasmine Krouse, Baylee's mother

"It seems like it all fell into place and was meant to be."

Should the city spend $5,000 or more to relocate the playgroup equipment at Sofios Park?
