Norwalk Furniture unveils showroom

More than 175 community leaders, employees, former employees and friends of Norwalk Furniture Corp. were on hand for Friday's ribbon cutting to open the company's stunning new 6,500-square-foot international showroom.

The showroom, which will only be open to retail store professionals, occupies the former main office space at the factory located at 100 Furniture Parkway and showcases more than 100 of the products built here in Norwalk. It will serve as a permanent supplement to Norwalk Furniture's trade showrooms in High Point, N.C. and Las Vegas.

Ohio Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor said that the story of Norwalk Furniture's rise from bankruptcy in 2008 "represents the American Dream and future opportunities for Ohioans."
