One of my new favorite shows is "Castle" (10 PM Mondays on ABC), about novelist Rick Castle who uses Detective Kate Beckett to be his inspiration and muse for his newest character.
Thursday's show was one of those episodes I enjoyed, but I'm not sure why.
Maybe it was because it kept me guessing; I never did figure out what was happening in the two scenarios, one of which didn't end up being a crime scene.
The Super Bowl was better than I expected. Let's not take anything away from the Cardinals; they played their hearts out. It was a much better match-up than I expected, especially since I didn't think Arizona's defense could keep up with the Steelers' O. Congrats to the Steelers.
• Did you notice that even the "CSI send-up of "American Idol" ("Overnight Sensation") had the neon blue color scheme to it? • "I can't take this!" Boo-hoo, you crybaby. Get off the stage.
… only to tell absolutely no one why. I’m guessing we’ll find out next week, but since this is “CSI,” would a clue have been too tough to ask for? What exactly will he do – go back to school, study bugs, teach or as I’ve suggested, ride off into the sunset with Lady Heather?
This episode lived up to and blew away my expectations. Grissom, who? (Just kidding!) Seriously though, "CSI" won't miss a beat with Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Ray Langston.
I won't get into the plot details of last night's show, but the episode had me aghast at offenders' motives and their lifestyles, feeling bad for the euthanasia "victim"/husband and wondering about the ultimate fate of the girl in the third case. The usual stuff I expect from "CSI."
I’m going to try something a little different with this blog; I’m just going to give random scenarios or quotes from tonight’s episode with a very brief response or question in a bullet format.
