Donny in jeopardy on DWTS

So it’s up to the voters as to whether Donny or Ozzy’s Brat survives tonight’s elimination and advances to the finals on “Dancing With the Stars.”
In terms of performance — and judges’ scoring — on Monday, the Brat deserves to go. Based on the season, Donny deserves it. Either way, the mirror ball trophy will wind up in the hands of either Mya or Younger Swimsuit Model at the conclusion of next week’s finals.
What did you think of last night’s semifinals?

Ozzy's Brat leaving DWTS tonight?

Now that’s what I’m talking about! The second half of “Dancing With the Stars” on Monday, with the Latin dances of the decades, produced the best string of dances all season. I watched four of the five a second time — and I may watch them again tonight, thanks to the DVR.

Since those dances were so good, I’ll lead them with them in my celeb-by-celeb recap, in order of performances:

Bruno becomes Mr. Cranky Pants on DWTS

So Bruno turned into Mr. Cranky Pants on “Dancing With the Stars” Monday night.

I’m getting sick of hearing him gripe about “you lost your timing over there” and “you missed a step.” Wah, wah, wah.

Dancing rebounds on DWTS

IMO the dancing was MUCH improved, the performances better across the board and judges more consistent - and in line with my thinking - than previous weeks on “Dancing With the Stars’ this season. I LOVED the group hustle. Made me want to be out there with them.

Glad to see just two individual dances: the paso doble and Argentine tango.

The Ice Man cometh and the Ice Man goeth on DWTS

(NOTE: My proposal to increase DWTS ratings appears at the end of this post.)

"Dancing With the Stars" said so long to the Ice Man on Tuesday, and the show is probably better off for it. While he provided that novelty element that was nice for a week or two, he definitely was the weakest link so GOOD-BYE! (Props to GottaDance for guessing that!)

Oh Mya, Oh Mya, Oh Mya! DWTS delivers

Saw some 10s. Saw some 5s. Saw four new dances. And saw lots of entertainment throughout the night.

Here's a dance-by-dance recap, in order of their performances:

Ice Man - Country Two Step suited him very well. Nice get-up. BTW a lasso in that man's hands could be dangerous.

New Yorker booted, Politician bows out from DWTS

No surprises with the elimination on Tuesday's results show of "Dancing With the Stars" - New Yorker and Jerry Rice Wannabe were in the bottom two, and New Yorker got kicked off. (As IwatchUdance and yours truly correctly projected in the last post.)

And Jenn and the rest of us are happy that Politician bowed out, instead of embarrassing himself by trying to dance with two broken feet. No more grandpa pants, right?

Mr. Cranky Pants returns on DWTS

Interesting night with the rumba and samba featured. The front-runners maintained their status, the middle-of-the-packers didn’t establish themselves and Mr. Cranky Pants returned.
Here’s my dance-by-dance review, in order of the performances:

Kung Fu Chef - Good theatrics with this rumba. May have lacked sensuality, but disagree with Carrie Ann - it was NOT uncomfortable to watch. LOL at the 3-year-old comparison.

No time for DeLay on DWTS

If "Dancing With the Stars" were like the game "Life," I could have bought a 6 or 7 stock and retired wealthy at Millionaire Estate. I can't recall ever seeing all the dancers so close in terms of scoring this early in the season. Of the 14 celebs, no one got a score lower than a 6, and only three had a score higher than a 7. BTW - I'm feeling REAL good about my final three right now.

How did your final three do last night? Who gets the encore? Who gets sent packing? And what did you think of Baz?

Should the city spend $5,000 or more to relocate the playgroup equipment at Sofios Park?
