TV's original Caped Crusader might now be known as the Dancing Not-so Dark Knight.
That's right, DWTS fans, Adam West might be busting a move on the dance floor soon. Maybe we too will soon be saying: "You shake a pretty mean leg, Batman."
This comes from a wenn.com story:
"Original 'Batman' star Adam West is set for a stint as a contestant on (the) hit U.S. talent show 'Dancing With The Stars.' West, who played the Caped Crusader in the 1960's 'Batman' TV show, is one of the stars shortlisted for the popular show. And despite being nearly 80, the veteran actor is still a frontrunning favourite to win the series' next season. A source tells New York Gossip column PageSix, 'Adam is in outstanding shape. He works out an hour a day and walks with his big dog on his farm in Sun Valley, Idaho.' A representative for West says, '(He is) not definite yet, but is one of the people they are seriously looking at. They will decide on everyone on Aug 25.'"
Does this mean we'll get to see West do the infamous Batwatusi? We can hope. (Click here to see the dance and scene in its entirety.)
And who will be Batman's dance partner? Will they be a dynamic dancing duo? Stay tuned … same Bat-time, same Bat-channel
… Another DWTS rumor — via the tried and true (?) "reports" — has Tom "Magnum P.I." Selleck also being considered a contestant after his "Three Men and Baby" co-star Steve Guttenberg convinced him to do it. "A source told the National Enquirer: 'Executives wanted an older hunk to bring in the baby boomer audience,'" according to digitalspy.com
