You "CSI" fans might be tired of all the superhero-related stuff I've been covering lately.

Good news then! Executive producer Carol Mendelsohn, in an Entertaintment Weekly interview, provides some info about what to expect next season. Here are just some of the juicy tidbits:

Jorja Fox will be back for "multiple" episodes, beginning with September's season premiere (EW's words, not mine) — the same one in which Warrick also appears. (The EP is mum on if he actually dies or not.) The Miniature Killer also shows up in another episode. For more from Mendelsohn, go to this link.

In a separate online story today by EW writer Michael Ausiello, Mendelsohn drops this bombshell about William "Grissom" Peterson: "this season's 10th episode will be his last as a full-time series regular." Mendelsohn also says Peterson will remain one of the executive producers afterwards.

Maybe "CSI" has more promise next season than I expected.
