I really thought "CSI" producer Naren Shenkar was kidding with Entertainment Weekly in September about swapping creative teams with "Two and a Half Men."
"CSI" executive producer Carol Mendelsohn and "Two and a Half Men" creator/executive producer Chuck Lorre will be trading jobs — just in time for the May sweeps period. Click here for the entire story.
Seriously, how will that work? Will "CSI" go slapstick for an hour? Does Grissom — in dealing with Sara's departure — become a binge-drinking sex hound? Will Charlie start wearing a crime scene investigator hat while getting busy with his latest conquest? Better yet, maybe Charlie starts spouting one-liners while swabbing a bed in a crime scene.
What about Catherine coming out of retirement as an exotic dancer and entertaining the guys on a pole newly added to the bachelors' living room? Then Charlie could be prying Alan's fingers off Jake's eyes
… And so much for my guess that we CSI-ers wouldn't see any new episodes until the fall.
