ONLINE EXCLUSIVE - Cassandra is Miss November

| Monday November 02 2009, 2:04pm

Norwalk native Cassandra might not have won the cover girl contest, but she's Miss November nonetheless.

The 2009-10 edition of the Cavaliers Girls annual calendar has hit the stands and from the looks of it, the popular publication will again be one of the top-selling items in the Cavaliers Team Shop for the sixth consecutive year.

The 14-month calendar (November 2009 to December 2010) was shot throughout Cleveland and features scenes along Edgewater Beach, views from the Flats and some of downtown's most recognizable locales. Each month shows off a Cavalier Girl photographed in stunning Cavaliers attire on a high-gloss poster-like page. The calendar also includes a photograph of the entire Cavalier Girls dance team.

The 2009-10 Cavalier Girls calendar is $15 and is available on cavs.com, at the Cavaliers Team Shop located in Quicken Loans Arena and at arena souvenir stands. All net proceeds from the calendar sales will benefit the Cavaliers Youth Fund, a fund of the McCormick Foundation.

Thousands of votes were cast in a cavs.com contest to choose from three Cavalier Girls for the coveted cover shot.

After the votes were counted, Toni was selected by fans as the face of the 2009-10 Cavalier Girls Calendar, edging Cassandra and one other Cavaliers Girl. Other dance team members in the calendar are Cassandra (November), Tiffany M. (December), Danielle (January), Jamie (February), Tiffany R. (March), Kali (April), Kelly (May), Katie (June), Amanda (July), Erica (August), Sherry (September), Ashley (October), Sarah (November), Erika (December) and Cheney (back cover).

Cassandra is a 2006 Norwalk High School graduate.

" The last names of 'Cavs Girls' are never made public, or so I'm told. "

" IF it is the Pastor's daughter I guess it makes sense why at first she never had a name in the article and now it's just her first name. Is someone embarassed?! "

" dckm56 - let's see …
Willard kids go to Cavs game and perform...
Norwalk girl on Cavs dance team, in Cavs calendar...
Hmm... common denominator?
Thinking ... thinking ... thinking...
The CAVS!

Maybe dckm56 needs to go back to class.
BTW I'm sure Cassandra is very, very glad SHE has nothing to do with Willard. I know I am. "

" BOOBS SELL PAPERS. LOOK AT PLAYBOY, and all the ohter trash magazines. HOW ELSE COULD THE NORWALK REFLECTOR SELL ANYTHING?
My question was what did "SHE" have to do with Willard High School? Isn't she a Norwalk native?
Refelctors editors need to go back to school for classes on CLASS! "

" And Cartman, along those lines of thinking, if you just show pictures of boobs, and not bother to write the article, that'd be fine too? ....lol ;) "

punkychuck wrote on Oct 31, 2009 10:42 PM:

" I figured right!
Glad the gal in the white bikini got it! "

E.Cartman wrote on Oct 31, 2009 10:19 PM:

" I was actually very happy to see Cassandra's photo with the article. C'mon people, without her picture who really gave a crap about that article? I think we all would much rather see her photo on the "Mercy officials" article instead of Senor Peeps-alot too. "

stormy wrote on Oct 31, 2009 10:18 PM:

" Now, just a minute, friend. If you want to use the term 'boobs,' you should confine your comments to the thread on sexting.

By the way, Cassandra was robbed!!! She's much cuter than the cover girl, who looks like a hooker I once...oops.

Just kidding. Black-cloud never stoop to paying for it. "

dckm56 wrote on Oct 31, 2009 7:13 PM:

" Just wondering from reading the actual hard copy of the paper tonight????
What did Miss Boobs of November have to do with the Willard High School? It was all run in one space.
And when did playboy start helping with the Cavs calendar?
That was a unplesent picture to put with an article on a local high school.Once again The Reflector botches the front page. "

stormy wrote on Oct 31, 2009 1:22 PM:

" Take a look at the names. Not a Buela, Bertha or Gladys in the bunch. Makes me wonder. When you hang such a name on a baby girl, does it activate some sort of morph-to-ugliness gene? Oh, well...who cares?

Dave's right; BUY PHOTO. "

David Deerest. wrote on Oct 31, 2009 5:00 AM:

" Yes, she certainly is Miss November...and BUY PHOTO!!!
Makes a great stocking stuffer.... "
