“I could not be happier for them,’’ the coach added.

Howell in the 3200 and the boys’ 1600 relay team just missed out on state appearances with fifth-placing showings.

“We hope as many people can come down to support the team and hopefully we can bring back some hardware,’’ the coach added. “All of Norwalk’s sports this year have been spectacular and we are grateful we could add to the excitement and help bring home the allsports trophy again this year.’’
