Jodie Foster Wants Out!

The “Silence of the Lambs” star has put the pedal to the metal on the sale of her Bird Streets home in Los Angeles. Foster has dropped the price of the super-high, hedgerow private abode at 9219 Flicker Way from $6.399 million to its current list price of $5.995 million.

Property records show that Foster bought the 6,060-square-foot home in 1997 and had the place remodeled over the years before listing it. The 1930s Spanish style house has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and is gilded with wood ceiling beams, bay windows and “charming” balconies overlooking a private courtyard and a pool.

Foster is said be now living in an $11.75 million Beverly Hills’ home she bought last year.

Sweet Tweet Sale for Neil Patrick Harris

When “How I Met Your Mother” star Neil Patrick Harris wanted to buy his family a townhouse in Harlem, N.Y., he took to Twitter to test the real estate waters.

Guess what? It #worked!

Now Patrick Harris, his fiancé David Burtka and their 2-year-old twin boys are headed to a townhouse at 2036 Fifth Ave., between West 125th and 126th streets, that Harris bought for $3.6 million.

The five-story home contains 8,000 square feet – a mansion by NYC standards – and boasts 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, two terraces, chef’s kitchen and a backyard. The ultra-large home will serve as base for the Emmy and Tony-award-winning actor as he heads back to Broadway in the spring, starring in “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.”

Sold: Shirley Temple’s Childhood Home

It’s not the good ship lollipop, but the former home of legendary child star Shirley Temple has sold in Santa Monica, Calif., for $2.489 million.

It took only two weeks for the 1926 bungalow to find a new owner who may have been swayed by its celebrity past, or, maybe just liked the original, Spanish-inspired charm of the place, including a landscaped lot with fruit trees.

These days, Shirley Temple Black lives in Woodside.

‘Les Mis’ Star Sells Her Brooklyn ‘Closet’

Anne Hathaway is selling the Brooklyn, N.Y., apartment she never lived in but instead, used as her clothing and storage closet.

According to reports, the Oscar-winning actress never moved into the Main Street apartment, but used the ninth-floor place as a super-big walk-in closet, since the 3-bedroom residence topped out at 2,592 square feet.

So much for the apartment’s views of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, all the way to the Empire State Building: What would a stack of evening gowns need to see there, anyway?
