Don Goggin, the author behind the famed “Nunsense” series, probably couldn’t resist mentioning the 1992 movie “Sister Act” in “Nunsensations! The Nunsense Vegas Revue.”

After all, in this amusing, ironic comedy, one of the characters notes that just as Whoopi Goldberg’s character left Las Vegas for the convent, these sisters left the convent for Las Vegas.

Which brings up a question: How would “Sister Act’s” holier than thou Mother Superior react to “Nunsensations?”

She’d probably keel over instantly.

After all, the sisters of “Nunsensations,” playing through Saturday in a vivacious, playful Huron Playhouse production, are hardly being modest.
