Five juveniles cited in Berlin Heights underage drinking party

BERLIN HEIGHTS - Police busted a Memorial Drive drinking party and charged five juveniles with underage consumption early Saturday morning. The three Berlin Heights residents, two girls and one boy, and the two Norwalk boys were cited and released to their parents, Berlin Heights Police Chief Charity Schafer said.

BERLIN HEIGHTS - Police busted a Memorial Drive drinking party and charged five juveniles with underage consumption early Saturday morning.

The three Berlin Heights residents, two girls and one boy, and the two Norwalk boys were cited and released to their parents, Berlin Heights Police Chief Charity Schafer said.

"One was transported to the (Erie County) detention home because he's on probation," she added.

No adults were present during the incident about 1:30 a.m. Saturday. "The parents weren't home," Schafer said.
