Nathan-Carlisle Lambes of Norwalk was named to the fall dean's list at Spring Arbor University.
A senior majoring in English-writing, he is the son of Larry and Robin Lambes.
The dean's list recognizes full-time students who have received a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the semester. Part-time students must receive a 3.5 grade point average for the semester and carry a cumulative 3.5 grade point average.
Jamie B. Dotson, daughter of Teena Dotson of Greenwich and Robert Dotson of Bellville, has been named to the Ohio Northern University deans' list for the winter quarter 2006-07. She is a junior majoring in early childhood education.
The BGSU Firelands Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a graduate of any high school in Erie, Huron or Ottawa counties who is a sophomore or beyond in the field of education and currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of character, academic ability and school and community involvement. Scholarship applicants must intend to teach after graduation.

Completed applications for this scholarship must be returned to the committee and must be postmarked by April 15. The recipient will be announced and introduced at the chapter's spring banquet in May.
