Tiffin man arraigned in chatroom sex sting

A Seneca County man faces a June 26 trial in connection with making arrangements to have sex with someone he assumed to be a 14-year-old girl.

Tiffin resident Jacob W. Hoover, 18, is accused of contacting undercover Wakeman Police Officer Josh Rice, who was posing as a girl, on an Internet chatroom and then arranging to meet "her" for the purposes of sex, authorities said.
