The Norwalk Area United Fund is in the process of accepting requests for 2008 funding.
Applicant agencies must be registered as a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, perform community services to individuals in this service area of Monroeville, Norwalk, Wakeman and surrounding area in Northern Huron County, and have been in operation a minimum of two years.
Agencies must fill out the required budget request forms and return them to the United Fund office by the deadline of April 4. Community volunteers on the 10-member Budget & Admissions Committee will be reviewing requests during April and May. Funding recommendations will be forwarded to the United Fund Board of Directors at the June board meeting.
