In Tuesday's issue, an article about an Environmental Protection Agency mandate for Norwalk stated residents would "likely" be facing a tax increase or fee increase. However, the city does not yet know how much money it will take to be in compliance with the mandate, and Safety Service Director Dale Sheppard said it might not cost the city anything. Even if it did, Sheppard added, the city has not yet decided how it would pay for those costs.
