The organizational meeting of the club was Monday in the Trinity Lutheran Church social room. President Becky Petrie opened the meeting with the pledges and then had everyone introduce themselves and tell something special about themselves.

There were 16 old members and one new member present. Each member was also accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The advisers went over membership requirements, new demonstration guidelines, and business items. Members voted to support the Kiwanis Grade A banquet, sell cheese to make money, and that the July 17 meeting would be at Valley Beach Park.

The next meeting will be Tuesday.

The Simpson family provided refreshments.
