COLLINS The 17th annual Western Reserve Toy Show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 4 at Western Reserve Elementary, which is located on U.S. 20 west of Wakeman.
This event, which is sponsored by the Western Reserve Ruritan Club, features dealers from all over northern Ohio with a wide assortment of toys such as railroad toys, dolls, sports cards, farm toys, cars and equipment.
These and other items such as signs and many kinds of collectable will be on display for viewing, buying, selling and trading. Lunch will be available and door prizes will be given away throughout the day.
Last year more than 600 visitors attended the show and more are expected this year. Admission is only $2, with children under 12 accompanied by an adult free.
Tables are still available for dealers at $20 a table for the first one or two and $17 for each additional table.
Proceeds from the show are used for scholarships for Western Reserve students and donations to the Western Reserve Renaissance Program, Western Reserve Endowment Fund, Boy Scout Troop 242's Toys for Needy Kids campaign and the Western Reserve FFA, which helps with the Toy Show lunch.
Parking for the show is plentiful and free, and everyone is invited to come out for this great family event.
