Local chocolatier visits Shakespeare Club

It was "Chocoholic Frolic" time when Shakespeare Club members met Feb. 12 at the Gerken Center. Jim Busek presided over the business meeting and then called upon Jane Kluding, director of the center, who had arranged for the meeting place as well as for the evening's speaker. Kluding welcomed everyone and spoke briefly about the center, named after its generous benefactor, Elizabeth Gerken. This vital center serves more than 100 children of this community and answers many needs in providing not only a day-care center but helps also with the Head Start program, Norwalk pre-school and early intervention for others who need specialized attention in helping them over the rough spots developmentally.
