Jennifer E. Hipp of Norwalk has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2006 semester at John Carroll University. Students eligible for the dean's list must have completed a minimum of 12 semester ours within one semester and have a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Jennifer E. Hipp of Norwalk has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2006 semester at John Carroll University.

Students eligible for the dean's list must have completed a minimum of 12 semester ours within one semester and have a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Beth N. Pettit has been named to the dean's list for the 2006 fall semester at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

The dean's list includes all students who carried a minimum of 12 credit hours and have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the semester.

Pettit, a junior majoring in graphic design, achieved a 4.000 grade point average. She is the daughter of Richard and Nancy Pettit of Greenwich.

Kameron Perry has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester 2006 at Ashland University.

This honor is awarded to those full-time students who have achieved a 3.5 grade point average or higher.

Perry is majoring in computer science. He is in the Ashland University Choir and Chamber Singers.

He is the son of Richard and Linda Perry of New London.

Brendan W. Roberts of Norwalk, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2006 semester.

Students eligible for the dean's list must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours within one semester and have a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Bronwyn Garner of Willard was recently elected as Panhellenic Council vice president and vice president of property for the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority at Baldwin-Wallace College.

Garner, daughter of Marc and Sue Garner, is a sophomore at B-W and is majoring in human resources. She is involved as event planner for Campus Entertainment Productions, and Greek Council. She is a 2005 graduate of Willard High School.

The following students are members of the Academia Team at Ashland University.

Leon Bursley of New London is a member. He is the son of Leon and Renee Bursley and is majoring in economics. Kendall Marchyshyn of Norwalk is a member. She is the daughter of James and Pam Marchyshyn and is majoring in accounting.

Kendra Kromer of Norwalk is a member of the College Republicans at Ashland University. She is the daughter of Gregg and Nita Kromer and is majoring in political science. Melissa Siman of North Fairfield is also a member of the College Republicans at Ashland University. She is the daughter of Dana and Sheilha Siman and is majoring in political science.

Ashley Ostheimer was named to the fall semester dean's list at Ball State University, Muncie, Ind. You must attain at least a 3.5 grade-point average and earn 12 or more credit hours. She is a freshman, majoring in fashion merchandising and design. Ashley is also a member of Ball State's coed cheerleading squad for 2006-07.She is a 2006 graduate of Edison High School and the daughter of Ellen and the late Keith Ostheimer of Milan.

Ashley Bethard of Collins is assistant editor and fiction editor for the Literature Club at Ashland University. She is the daughter of Charles and Lindaly Collins and is majoring in English. Jennifer Valko of Bellevue is the nonfiction editor of the Literature Club at Ashland University. She is the daughter of Gary and Holly Valko and is majoring in integrated language arts.
