Health department has new shingles vaccine

NORWALK The Huron County General Health District has announced the availability of several new vaccines. For the adult population age 60 and older, there is the new "shingles" vaccine (ZOSTAVAX). Shingles is a rash that is usually on one side of the body. The rash begins as a cluster of small red spots that often blister. The rash can be painful.
