HIGHWAY PATROL Jacalyn M. Houck, 32, of 2288 W. U.S. 20, Monroeville, was charged with failure to control Jan. 28 after she went off the left side of Ohio 99 and hit a stop sign at the intersection off Bauman Road and Ohio 99. She went across Bauman Road and hit a utility pole and street sign before stopping in a field.

HIGHWAY PATROL

Jacalyn M. Houck, 32, of 2288 W. U.S. 20, Monroeville, was charged with failure to control Jan. 28 after she went off the left side of Ohio 99 and hit a stop sign at the intersection off Bauman Road and Ohio 99. She went across Bauman Road and hit a utility pole and street sign before stopping in a field.

Lucas D. Johnson, 20, of 1836 Ohio 269, Bellevue, was charged with failure to control Jan. 29 after he went off the left side of Ohio 4 and hit a utility pole.

Thomas Vargas, 35, of 772 W. Main St., Bellevue, hit a deer Tuesday on U.S. 20.

James P. Stevenson, 73, of 424 Ridge Road, Willard, was charged with failure to control Tuesday after he went off the right side of Ohio 99 and hit two silos.

Juan Chavez, 59, of 365 Spring St., Willard, was charged with failure to control Tuesday after he went off the right side of Ohio 99 and hit a ditch.

Ashley M. Ungerer, 23, of 520 Milan Ave., Lot 42, was charged with lanes of travel Tuesday after she went left of center and hit the left rear of the vehicle driven by Timothy T. Rife, 51, of 5504 Ohio 4, Unit 113, Bellevue, on Ohio 113.

Ashley N. Wicker, 20, of New Washington, was charged with failure to yield the right of way when turning left Wednesday in a collision with a vehicle driven by Stephen C. Baker, 40, of Medina, at the intersection of Bullhead Road and Old Ohio 99.

Elena A. Kertstetter, 49, of 1370 Chenango Road, Wakeman, hit a deer Wednesday on Chenango Road.

Nathaniel C. Draper, 21, of 1274 Cook Road, New London, was charged with failure to control Wednesday after he went off the right side of Chenango Road, hit a ditch and overturned. He reported no injuries.

Stephen T. Bursiel, 35, of 1 James St., hit a deer Thursday on Ohio 61.

Alissa R. Keysor, 27, of 3764 U.S. 224, Lot 14, Greenwich, hit a deer Friday on Ohio 60.

Matthew J. Lefebvre, 32, of 3264 U.S. 224, Greenwich, was charged with failure to control Friday after he went off the right side of U.S. 250 and hit a pole.

NORWALK POLICE

James E. Boyd, 58, of Akron, was arrested on two local warrants Friday at the Summit County Jail and charged with failure to pay fines and costs. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

Brian S. Fannin, 39, of 87A Grove Ave., was arrested on three warrants Friday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs and failure to attend anger management counseling. He was released Saturday from the Huron County Jail after posting bond.

Eric T. Johnson, 26, of Sandusky, was arrested on a local warrant Saturday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

Bernadette J. Reilly, 31, of 28 S. Prospect St., was arrested on a warrant Saturday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs on the original charge of aggravated trespassing. She was turned over to the Huron Police Department.

Charged a 13-year-old Concord Court girl with being unruly Saturday. Police forwarded a report to the Huron County Prosecutor's Office and Huron County Juvenile Court.

A Walnut Street resident reported her son was being unruly Saturday.

Albert Christopher, 83, of 5 Ridgewood Drive, was charged with failure to control Saturday after he hit the accelerator instead of the brake as he left a Church Street business driveway. His car hit the curb, a sign post, a concrete median and concrete support light post. North Central EMS transported him to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with minor injuries.

North Central EMS transported a Cortland Street patient to Fisher-Titus Medical Center to be evaluated by a mental health professional Sunday.

A Bucyrus resident reported the theft of her Motorola cell phone at a Republic Street business Sunday.

Had a vehicle, which had been abandoned at League Elementary School since Jan. 29, towed Sunday.

The Willard Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call Friday about a Pleasant Street, Willard, assault Friday.

The Adult Parole Authority requested assistance transporting an unspecified prisoner Friday.

The Norwalk Police Department received a request Friday to notify an East Ohio 61 resident that he is not allowed on the Sandusky High School property.

A Fitchville River Road, New London, resident reported a trespassing incident Friday.

A Townline Road 12, Willard, resident reported a suspicious vehicle Friday.

The state Highway Patrol requested assistance in getting a school bus full of children turned around after sitting in traffic because of an accident Friday on U.S. 250.

The state Highway Patrol requested a deputy check Greenwich Milan Townline Road north of Zenobia Road for a possible vehicle in a ditch Friday.

Johnny D. Tackett, 31, of 4238 Pleasant St., Willard, was arrested on a warrant Friday and charged with failure to appear. He is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

A North U.S. 250 resident reported the theft of a credit card and related fraud Saturday.

An East U.S. 20, Wakeman, resident reported his 11-year-old daughter was being unruly Saturday.

The New London Police Department received reports from two area motorists about a juvenile pedestrian Saturday on Chenango Road, New London, who was brought to the police station.

The Richland County Sheriff's Office requested assistance with an Ohio 603, Plymouth, traffic stop Saturday.

Employees of a West U.S. 224, New Haven, business accused a customer of knocking down merchandise Sunday.

The Willard Police Department requested assistance with suspects fighting at a South Myrtle Avenue, Willard, business Sunday.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about a Butler Road, Wakeman, barn fire Sunday. Dispatchers sent the Wakeman Fire District, New London Volunteer Fire Department and Wakeman Police Department to the scene, with the Townsend Township Volunteer Fire Department on standby.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 8:17 a.m. Friday at 5 Macintosh Road. Returned to station at 8:45.

Responded to an accident with possible injuries at 3:07 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Dublin Road and U.S. 250 where the vehicle already had left the scene. Returned to station at 3:27.

Responded to a tractor-trailer vs. pickup truck accident and used the Jaws of Life to extricate the pickup driver at 4:01 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Dublin Road and U.S. 250. Returned to station at 5.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 5:19 p.m. Friday at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. Returned to station at 5:35.

Assisted North Central EMS with lifting a patient at 6:48 p.m. Friday at 272 Benedict Ave. Returned to station at 7:35.

Responded to an accident with injuries at 10:40 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Main and Church streets. Returned to station at 11:02.

Responded to an accident at 12:34 p.m. Saturday at 2874 S. Ohio 61. Returned to station at 1:08.
