SANDUSKY A Sandusky man was sentenced to 17 years in prison Thursday for shooting a Norwalk woman over a crack cocaine drug deal gone wrong in January 2006.
Donte C. Jackson, 25, pleaded guilty to felony attempted robbery and attempted murder charges in Erie County Common Pleas Court. In exchange, Erie County Prosecutor Kevin Baxter agreed to dismiss charges of theft, kidnapping, felonious assault and two counts of having a weapon under a disability.
