WILLARD — An Attica man being held in the Seneca County Jail recently admitted to police to assaulting a 66-year-old woman who was injured when the suspect stole her purse in the southern part of Willard.
Timothy S. Stallings, 18, admitted Friday to the offense that happened about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at a West Walton Avenue business during a jail interview with Willard Detective Sgt. Rick Sexton, Police Chief Joe Daniel said. Before the interview, Sexton had received a tip about the possible suspect in the assault and robbery case.
