Taco Soup

1 lb. ground hamburger meat

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cans (15 1/2 ounces) mexican style chili beans, undrained

1 can (15 1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, undrained

2 cans (8 ounce) tomato sauce

2 cans (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomato, undrained

1 can (4.5 ounces) chopped green chilies

1 envelope taco seasoning mix

1 envelope Ranch style dressing mix

1 cup water Toppings:

Corn chips

Shredded lettuce

Chopped tomato

Sour cream

Shredded cheddar cheese

Chopped green onion

Cook beef and onion in large (6 quart) pot over medium-high heat until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain.

Stir all other ingredients into beef mixture, bring to boil.

Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Spoon soup into bowl and top with desired toppings.
