Teethers pose hazard

Kids II Inc. is recalling Bright Starts Star Teether Beads (model 8483) and Bright Starts Teether Beads (model 8549) sold nationwide from June 2006 until now. The flexible plastic ring that holds the teether beads in place can crack or break, and the beads can detach, posing a choking hazard to infants. Consumers should contact Kids II at (877) 325-7056 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for information on receiving a free replacement.
