Police nab suspects in vehicle break-ins

NEW LONDON Police have arrested two New London juveniles in connection with a series of more than a dozen village vehicle break-ins that started Nov. 30. A 15-year-old New London boy initially was charged with theft, the equivalent of a first-degree misdemeanor if committed by an adult, New London Police Chief Mark Holden said. The boy has been in custody at the Erie County Juvenile Detention Center since Jan. 17.
