Mommy's Time Out Club forming at area hospital

SANDUSKY Firelands Regional Medical Center is offering a new concept for moms-to-be and new moms to gather, have fun, make friends and share all the joys and concerns they have in common. The first Mommy's Time Out Club meeting is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25 in the second floor Mylander Conference Center at the FRMC main campus of Firelands Regional Medical Center. The speaker for the evening is Susan Hitts, who will speak on "Celebration of Motherhood and Uplifting/Inspiring Mothers."

SANDUSKY Firelands Regional Medical Center is offering a new concept for moms-to-be and new moms to gather, have fun, make friends and share all the joys and concerns they have in common.

The first Mommy's Time Out Club meeting is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25 in the second floor Mylander Conference Center at the FRMC main campus of Firelands Regional Medical Center. The speaker for the evening is Susan Hitts, who will speak on "Celebration of Motherhood and Uplifting/Inspiring Mothers."

Hitts is a leader of the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) organization. A resident of Sheffield Lake and the mother of five children, she is the MOPS coordinator for 12 MOPS groups along the north coast of Ohio. She has a business finance degree from Michigan State.

Participants eligible for membership are expectant mothers and mothers of infants up to 1 year of age. Membership is $20 and includes that amount of money worth of educational vouchers that can be used for any Firelands educational offering.
