Drug dealer sent to prison

Convicted drug dealer Larry W. Owens sobbed with his head in his hands as Visiting Common Pleas Judge Charles Kurfess announced he was being sent to prison for 17 months. A jury found the Westwood Drive, New London, man guilty of four incidents of selling crack cocaine and powdered cocaine in mid-December. One of the charges, a fourth-degree felony, alleges Owens of making one of the transactions in the presence of a juvenile.
