A Cleveland man faces two misdemeanors in connection with fleeing from the Wakeman Police Department.

Anyanwu Davis, 24, is expected to go to trial Thursday in Norwalk Municipal Court. He is charged with one count each of fleeing and eluding and resisting arrest in connection with an Aug. 19 incident, according to court records.

Davis was released the Huron County Jail on Wednesday, when he posted a $9,000 bond with a 10-percent provision, according to jail records.

Chief Tim Hunker and Wakeman Law Director Randy Strickler couldn't be reached for comment.
