Jamie Spildener understands the importance of variety and cooking in a marriage.
Spildener, 38, married the former Jill Morr of Norwalk in April 2008 and quickly learned the need for more assortment in their diet.
This week's featured recipe is turkey meat loaf. The Spildeners obtained the recipe from Jill's mother, Karen Morr of Norwalk, as a ground beef meat loaf but eventually it "evolved into turkey," Jamie said.
"There are so many meat loaves out there," Jamie said. "Most of them aren't good for anything except for putting them behind the tire when working on the car. Unfortunately, my mom was never able to make a good meat loaf. But we made this one and ... it's a great recipe."
