Luis S. Rodriguez Jr., 61, of Fremont, hit a deer Thursday on U.S. 20.

David M. Dailey, 48, of New Washington, was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Sunday after he hit the rear of the parked, disabled vehicle owned by Steven R. Vinans, whose age was unavailable, of Mansfield, on Townline Road 12.

Chad T. Barman, 17, of 2257 Cole Creek Drive, was charged with failure to control Sunday after he went off the right side of Ridge Road, overcorrected and skidded off the opposite side, hitting an embankment and a ditch.

Heather M. Steinmetz, 23, of 4100 Bevier Road, Willard, hit an unspecified animal Tuesday on Ohio 61.

Shawna K. Shaffer, 36, of 17 Market St., Greenwich, was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Tuesday after she hit the rear of the vehicle driven by Sylvester F. Proctor, 71, of Shelby, on U.S. 224.

Kenneth C. Starkey II, 16, of 26 Chippewa Drive, Milan, was charged with failure to control Tuesday after he went off the right side of Seminary Road and hit a light and phone box before stopping in an open field.

MONROEVILLE PD

A Surrey Court resident accused a neighbor of playing music loudly Jan 6. and Thursday. The same officer responded to both complaints and the resident turned the music down.

Responded to a loud noise complaint at a Monroe Street business Jan. 7 where bands were performing for about four hours.

Stopped a car Friday on U.S. 20 for various equipment violations. The driver, Tara L. Hoffman, 20, of 100 Pimlico Place, Apt. A, Bellevue, was charged with driving with a suspended license and released. Her passenger, Jeremy A. Griggs, 19, also of 100 Pimlico Place, Apt. A, Bellevue, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. He was released from the Huron County Jail after posting a $5,000 bond Saturday.

The Richland County Sheriff's Office reported having Michelle V. Foulks, 29, of Mansfield, in custody on a warrant during a traffic stop Monday. She was charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with expired license plates. Foulks was released from the Huron County Jail on Tuesday after serving two days.

NORWALK FIRE

Responded to an accident with injuries at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of New State and Ridge roads. Returned to station at 9:22.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at 5 Gerard Drive. Returned to station at 9:54.

Performed a smoke investigation and learned the exhaust fan system was not working properly at 6:43 p.m. Tuesday at 81 E. Main St. Returned to station at 7:07.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 8:47 p.m. Tuesday at 23 Walnut St. Returned to station at 9:17.

A Milan Avenue resident reported receiving a bad check from a Williams Street suspect Tuesday.

An employee of a Madison Street business reported there was $150 missing after someone drilled a hole in the lock of three vending machines Tuesday.

Jeremiah M. Meacham, 18, of 154 1/2 Woodlawn Ave., was arrested on an undisclosed Sandusky County Juvenile Court Probation warrant Tuesday and turned over to a Sandusky County's deputy.

Allison N. Grosswiler, 18, of 384 Burras Road, North Fairfield, was charged with failure to control Tuesday after she lost control on the ice on Whittlesey Avenue at the League Street intersection. Her pickup truck turned 180 degrees, went off the right side of the road, jumped a curb and hit a tree.

Chad A. Pocock, 21, of 1835 Wenz Road, Clarksfield, was arrested and charged with domestic violence Tuesday in connection with a West League Street incident. He was taken to court for a temporary protection order hearing in Norwalk Municipal Court.

A New London police officer reported finding a missing unspecified juvenile Tuesday on White Avenue, New London.

The manager of a Peru Olena Road mobile home park requested deputies remove a suspect from the premises Tuesday.

An Ohio 103, Willard, resident reported a suspicious four-wheeler was heading south Tuesday.

The state Highway Patrol requested deputies handle a non-injury accident Tuesday on Old State Road because of multiple accidents in the county.

Responded to a multiple vehicle accident Tuesday on Ohio 601 where one of the victims requested an ambulance.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about someone driving a truck into an Ohio 601 ditch Tuesday. A deputy handled the accident.

A South Norwalk Road resident reported a suspicious vehicle drove past her home twice Tuesday.

An area resident requested a deputy check on the well-being of her 15-year-old daughter Tuesday on Ohio 601.

An employee of an area trucking company requested a deputy check on the well-being of one of their drivers they hadn't heard from since Friday.

A Willard West Road, Willard, resident reported a suspected fraud Tuesday in connection with a September 1998 incident where a suspect is accused of using the complainant's information to get a phone in Delaware. The suspect is further accused of running up a bill of $3,000.

A Pontiac Section Line Road, Monroeville, resident reported a domestic dispute Tuesday.

A Niver Road, Willard, resident reported an unspecified theft Tuesday.

A Plymouth East Road, Greenwich, resident reported an unspecified fraud Tuesday.

The Willard Police Department reported pursuing a yellow four-wheeler that left the city limits Tuesday and headed north on Niver Road, Willard, north of Townline Road 12.

Responded to a domestic incident Tuesday on East U.S. 224, Greenwich, where both suspects left prior to a deputy's arrival.

The Monroeville Police Department requested assistance with a suspect who fled on foot from a North Street, Monroeville, domestic incident Tuesday.
