Effective Friday, the Social Security Administration (SSA) will no longer issue numident printouts for customers that have lost or misplaced their Social Security Cards and need a replacement.

The BMV will continue to accept valid numident printouts issued by the SSA and dated within the past 120 days. As of Dec. 1, numident printouts will no longer be accepted as proof of SSN.

BMV customers should provide another form of identity on the list of acceptable documents to prove identity for issuance of an Ohio driver’s license or Ohio Identification card.

ok. we get it, reflector staff. youve found a new word. numident? how about giving a definition, instead of using it 3x in 3 or 4 sentences and having everyone scramble for the thesaurus? we're not English majors
