n A Welton Avenue resident reported the theft of a prescription bottle of Vicodin and some loose change from her 2001 Dodge Stratus sometime between last Wednesday and Saturday.

n A Milan Avenue resident reported the theft of his fraternal order of police badge from the rear license plate of his vehicle sometime this week.

n A South Old State Road resident accused a 74-year-old resident in the apartment complex of harassing and cursing at her children Tuesday. The complainant made a similar complaint against the man Oct. 20. Police forwarded a report to the Norwalk Law Director’s office and contacted the man’s service coordinator.

n The Erie County Sheriff’s Office reported having Jose S. Maciel, 33, of 103 Jefferson St., Lot 56, in custody on a local failure to pay fines warrant Tuesday. The initial conviction was driving without a license. Maciel currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

n Huron County Probation Officer Andrea Cooke reported finding a syringe, plunger and three unknown white pills while searching a probationer’s Newton Street home Tuesday.

n The Sandusky Police Department reported having Sheryl A. Horning, 54, of Vickery, in custody on a local petty theft warrant Tuesday. She currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

n Kevin R. Craft, 51, whose address was unavailable, was served a summons on a passing bad checks warrant Tuesday in connection with a Jan. 19 transaction involving a $34 check.

n Michael D. Murray, 25, of 2655 Division Lane, New London, was arrested on a driving with a suspended license warrant during a state Highway Patrol traffic stop Tuesday. He is serving a 15-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

n John W. Youngless, 26, of 1546 U.S. 250, New London, was arrested on a warrant during the aforementioned state Highway Patrol traffic stop Tuesday. He is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

n An area resident requested a deputy check on the well-being of a Collins Road, Collins, resident for an undisclosed reason Tuesday.

n The father of a Fairfield Angling Road, North Fairfield, resident requested a deputy check on the well-being of his son who has suspected mental issues Tuesday.

n Dispatchers received two 9-1-1 calls about a female stranded Tuesday on Ohio 162, New London.

n Dispatchers were advised of an alarm activation Tuesday at South Central High School.

n A U.S. 20 business employee accused a customer of attempting to turn in an undisclosed stolen item Tuesday.

n The Norwalk Police Department reported having a missing juvenile in custody on an undisclosed warrant Tuesday. A deputy transported the girl to the Sandusky County Juvenile Detention Center.

n Dispatchers received two calls about a U.S. 250, New London, home across from the Fitchville Cemetery fully engulfed in flames Tuesday. The New London Volunteer Fire Department requested mutual aid from the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department and Tri-Community Joint Fire District.

n Responded to the Plymouth Police Department about a theft complaint Tuesday.
