City officials hope to approve a tax abatement for a flour mill facility in the city.

A public hearing, followed by a council vote on the matter will take place at 4 p.m. July 17.

Eighteen full-time and three part-time jobs could come to the city if Kent-based Star of the West Milling Company brings a new flour mill facility here.
