Suspected DUI driver stopped after going left of center

A suspected drunken driver was stopped in New Haven in connection with going left of center early Friday.

Joe Humberto Canedo, 19, of 2719 Prairie St., New Haven, was charged with going left of center and driving under the influence. Trooper Jeremy Albert, of the state Highway Patrol's Norwalk post, made the stop on Ohio 598 at 3:10 a.m.

Humberto Canedo had a blood-alcohol content level that tested at .118 percent, according Albert's report. The legal limit for drivers in Ohio is .08 percent. The suspect doesn't have any prior DUI convictions.
