DUI convictions

NORWALK The following people recently were convicted of drunken driving in Norwalk Municipal Court: Travis M. Kovach, 23, 2628 Collins Road, Collins. Violation date: Dec. 14, 2007. Conviction date: Apr. 10. Walter D. Wilcoxen, 48, 139 N. Pleasant St., Apt. 1B, Norwalk. Violation date: Mar. 22. Conviction date: Apr. 15. Sentence: $950 fine, $70 costs, one-year license suspension and 30 days in jail; defendant shall have 20 days of jail suspended; defendant shall have two years probation; defendant shall abide by laws and have no convictions for two years; defendant shall show proof of six months alcohol counseling by Dec. 15; defendant shall pay restitution through the court as directed by probation officer. Mitchell J. Drunkemiller, 19, Nelsonville. Violation date: Apr. 11. Conviction date: Apr. 14. Sentence: $700 fine, $60 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of alcohol intervention program (AIP); defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance from Apr. 29 to Oct. 14; defendant shall have limited driving to include Hocking Community College.
