Hazardous weather outlook for Huron County

Severe thunderstorms possible.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued the following hazardous weather outlook for Huron County and the surrounding areas:

STRONG TO POSSIBLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH THIS
EVENING. THE GREATEST THREAT WILL BE FROM LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE WHICH MAY CAUSE
LOCALIZED FLOODING.

At 4:55 p.m., the weather service issued a severe thunderstorm watch that will be in effect until 11 p.m. for the following Ohio counties, including Huron County:

ASHLAND ASHTABULA CRAWFORD
CUYAHOGA ERIE GEAUGA
HOLMES HURON KNOX
LAKE LORAIN MAHONING
MARION MEDINA MORROW
OTTAWA PORTAGE RICHLAND
SANDUSKY SENECA STARK
SUMMIT TRUMBULL WAYNE
WYANDOT

@ Brock Lee : I about fell out of my chair laughing, when I read your comment. However, my friend I must give you the dreaded " I told you so ".


Because all winter long, when you wanted it to be summer. I told you winter was the best. Now we come to find out, you love winter's cousin---fall, the best.


So again " I told you so " about summer. So keep being miserably hot, sweaty and swatting bugs my friend. Then remember, only 6 month's and 2 days till winter returns. :)
