Two Milan motorists who don't have any prior drunken-driving convictions have been charged with driving under the influence in connection with separate traffic stops.

William S. Reed, 52, of 38 Oakfield Drive, was stopped by Trooper Eddie Lopez, of the state Highway Patrol, for reportedly driving on the wrong side of the road. The traffic stop happened at 9:53 p.m. May 21 on U.S. 20 in Norwalk Township.

Reed's breath had a blood alcohol content level of .122 percent, according to the patrol. The legal limit for drivers in Ohio is .08 percent. Reed was charged with driving on the wrong side of the road and DUI.

At 2:40 p.m. Sunday, Erin C. McManus, 31, of 31 Twin Oaks Drive, was stopped by Sgt. Brian Mamere on Shawmill Road near Plank Road.

McManus, whose BAC tested at .169, was charged with DUI and going left of center.

WOW.. like one is over a week old and other is nearly a week..
Fast journalism..slow/boring week for heroin??
and what's with the big "MILAN" slam..
and not 2 justify.. if 1 beer is .08 over the limit.. with these numbers .122 ??? what like 2 beers.. WOW??

Now The Rest of...

One beer will not test .08%BAC on an average size male more like 3 or 4.

I bet you wouldn't be saying this if one of your loved ones was hit and killed while this idiot was driving IN THE COMPLETE OTHER LANE! oh how quickly the comments would change :)

was he truly in the wrong lane. with a .122% is more like a couple cocktails and was seen pulling out of an establishment and needed an excuse.
Not saying that most law enforcement aren't great truthful people, but my gosh, when our President will knowing lye to the public for political don't think some law will stretch the story for gain/stripes?

You are all over the place, bringing up the president? lol you simply look to start controversy. Like I said before which you ignored answering, would you be changing your comments if this person had killed someone while driving under the influence?

Now The Rest of...

Chill out I wasn't condoning any action just stating a fact when it come to the amount of alcohol need to test at a certain level, some people are unsafe even below the .08%BAC...

modern concrete

Rt 20 is no where close to Milan! So this is a little confusing .

They LIVE in Milan . Same neighborhood. Hence the "Milan drivers. "

Simple don't drink and drive !
