Firelands Electric Cooperative will be performing maintenance work on Thursday, May 29, which will cause power outages for approximately 200 Firelands’ consumer-members located in Bronson, Fairfield, Fitchville and Hartland townships of Huron County.

The power outage will begin around 9:30 a.m. and will last approximately one hour. Firelands’ crews will be transferring some power loads, which will reduce the length of the outage and number of cooperative members affected by the planned maintenance work.
