Seven parcels of property in the Norwalk Commons development on the city's north side recently were repossessed by Westfield Bank.
About 10 years ago, the development firm Pride One promised what some considered a dream for the north side of town.
At first, Pride One delivered, with the Norwalk Premiere Theatre 8 and East of Chicago.
Proposals for the development included an Applebee's and Holiday Inn Express.
"But then the economy went south and the enthusiasm for the project went south," Councilman Bob Carleton said.
