n The following motorists hit deer Tuesday: Bud D. Thornsberry, 24, of Shiloh, on Bullhead Road; and Lori S. Crichton, 46, of 5295 Franklin Church St., Greenwich, on Fitchville River Road.

n Troopers are investigating a crash Tuesday at the intersection of Fairfield Angling and Edwards roads. The driver of a red Chevrolet pickup truck failed to yield the right-of-way to Roger S. June, 31, of 3129 Alpha Road, Greenwich, who swerved right to avoid hitting the truck. June went off the left side of Edwards Road and hit a stop sign. The other driver fled the scene.

n The Huron County Sheriff’s Office reported a domestic dispute Tuesday on Monroe Street.

n Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday at 318 E. Main St. Returned to station at 1:50.

n Charged two juvenile suspects, a boy and a girl, both 17, with a curfew violation in connection with a Benedict Avenue incident Wednesday. The girl was released to her aunt and the boy was released to his adult sister. Police forwarded a report to the Huron County Prosecutor’s office and Huron County Juvenile Court.

n Joseph A. Jones, 27, whose address was unavailable, was charged with domestic violence in connection with a Whittlesey Avenue incident Wednesday.

n Ashley B. Pugh, 23, of 394 Cleveland Road, was arrested on a probation violation warrant Wednesday. She currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail awaiting a Norwalk Municipal Court hearing.

n Kris L. Finch, 37, whose address was unavailable, was arrested on an Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office warrant Wednesday.

n Debbie K. Sugaski, 34, of 13 Welton Ave., was charged with dog at large Wednesday in connection with a female postal worker being bitten by a dog near Sugaski’s home.

n Attempted to locate a Cortland Street suspect accused of failing to file city income taxes for 2006 as of Wednesday.

n Janice R. Michowka, 34, whose address was unavailable, was issued a summons Wednesday on one count of passing bad checks in connection with a June 29, 2006 incident.

n Attempted to locate an Arrowhead Lane suspect accused of failing to file city income taxes for 2003 and part of 2004 as of Wednesday. The man, now a Columbus resident, contacted police and said he would be in Norwalk on Monday to take care of the situation.

n Attempted to locate a male suspect accused of failing to file city income taxes for 2004 through 2006 and a married couple accused of failing to file their 2006 city income taxes as of Wednesday.

n Charged two male juvenile suspects with underage consumption and a curfew violation in connection with a Minard Place incident today. They were released later to their parents.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

n A Butler Road, New London, resident reported two suspicious vehicles Wednesday.

n Dispatchers were advised of an alarm activation at a Tiger Road business Wednesday.

n Residents on Washburn Road, Willard, and Ohio 60, New London, reported receiving nuisance telephone calls Wednesday.

n Huron County Probation Officer Jim Zappa reported having Chelsa R. Mundy, 31, of 93 N. Prospect St., in custody on a Cobb County, Ga. warrant at his office Wednesday. She was charged with probation violation on the original charge of robbery. The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office reported they would be placing a detainer on Mundy for extradition to Georgia. She currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

n The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reported there was a male passed out in a vehicle Wednesday at the intersection of Ladow and Baseline roads, Plymouth. Willard EMS and a deputy responded to the scene.

n A Sandhill Road, Monroeville, resident reported a suspicious teenage pedestrian Wednesday.

n A Cook Road, New London, resident reported two foster children were fighting with each other Wednesday.

n An area resident reported that a Lakeshore Drive, Willard, resident has a vehicle that belongs to her Wednesday and was supposed to buy from her. The complainant said she wants to take the vehicle back, but the male resident is accused of threatening to assault her if she comes there.
